NOTES:

The USS Constellation participated in a total of 11 separate campaigns, during the Vietnam War.
This results in 2 Silver Stars & 1 Bronze Star on the ribbon and medal to reflect those 11 campaigns.

1] Vietnam Service Medals: Single ribbon Multiple Dates
One Ribbon per cruse. No attachments

2] All dates are taken from CNO list of Medals awarded to Constellation. Southwest Asia Service Medal and the
Humanitarian Service Medals are not listed, however, these ribbons are shown on the awards page of the
Constellation Decommissioning book. In addition several former crew members stated they received the above medals while serving on Constellation. Dates are unknown.

3] Republic of Vietnam Presidential Unit commendation was awarded to Constellation in 1968.

4] Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross w/Palm was award by the Republic of Vietnam on the dates above. Single medal with no
attachments.
